Inspired Outdoor Living

An outdoor space provides a rejuvenating change from indoor living, a place to immerse yourself in nature's beauty and tranquility. An oasis to relax and entertain.

In a world that's hotter than ever, shading your outdoor space has become more important than ever.

Coco Du Sol was created to offer a natural and sustainable shade alternative to the synthetic shade sails that contribute to global warming and the plastic pollution crisis.

Coco Du Sol shade canopies enhance the natural ambiance of your outdoor oasis.

Natural, Sustainable Materials

Coco Du Sol canopies are made from coconut fiber, naturally sourced from sustainably grown coconut trees in Indonesia.

Working in partnership with coconut farms in Java, we take the outer husk, which is normally a waste product, to create coconut fibre which is then weaved into yarn that is used for our shade canopies.

Coconut fibre (or Coir) is a 100% natural fiber that is strong, hard-wearing, weather-resistant, rot- resistant and biodegradable.

Coco Du Sol shade canopies create the ultimate natural ambiance for your outdoor oasis.

The team under the shade

We are designers, creatives, outdoor enthusiasts, and optimists.

Our love of creating beautiful spaces goes beyond just architecture and the current project. We strive to find new ways to integrate our lifestyle into the outdoor spaces we make, while keeping sustainability top of mind by using reclaimed building techniques, vintage pieces and natural materials.

We are optimistic about the future of our environment and work hard to integrate that into everything we do.

While searching for shade sails on a project we were creating in sunny California, we were disappointed to see the lack of options. All were made from synthetic materials which beyond being a major plastic polluter, also detracted from the natural ambience of our designs. This inspired us to find a natural and sustainable alternative.

We are excited to share our coconut fiber shade canopies with the you.

Thank you for being here,
